“Deal of the century” with Iran also concerns steel sector

In exchange for goods from Iran, mainly oil, Russia is ready to build the whole range of industrial enterprises, inclusive of metallurgical ones.

The Oil Minister of Iran, Bijan Namdar Zangeneh said during the negotiations in Teheran that Russia and Iran could increase the sales turnover 10 times, up to approximately $15 billion a year.

RF Minister of Energy, A.Novak said Russia and Iran could cooperate in the sector of metallurgy, transport and communications.

“We are to shake the dust off and start proposing new goods,” Minister said. According to ITAR-TASS, “Technopromexport” can build 7 thermal power stations in Iran in payment for oil supplies until 2017.
