Gold production at Vasilievsky mine to increase

The gold mining enterprise of the Krasnoyarsk region Vasilievsky mine modernizes production, which will allow the company to increase the gold mining by 40% (1.4-2 tons per year). This was reported by the Regional Ministry of Industry, Energy and Trade.

The enterprise development program is in a designed trough until 2025. During this time, Vasilevsky mine plans to involve new fields in the development and expand the power of the gold recovery plant.

- We plan to renovate the plant to increase the production by nearly two times, - said the company’s president Alexei Kolchin. - We hope that it will increase the volume of the gold produced by the same figure, but much depends on the natural characteristics of ore. Perhaps this will change our place in the total volume of the gold mining in the region.
