Gazprom to pay 50 bln roubles for import substitution products to TMK

​The value of the contract of TMK and Gazprom for the supply of import substitution products makes up about 50 bln roubles.

TMK says that the agreement is signed for 8 years. TMK is planned to supply products with the total volume of 101 thousand tons within that period.

In October 2015 TMK and Gazprom signed a long-term agreement on the organization of production, supplies and maintenance of import substitution products for the guaranteed volumes of supplies in future.

According to the agreement, the supplies comprise high-strength pipes and special pipes with premium thread joints of TMK out of carbon and alloy marks of steel and special alloys for the operation in severe climatic conditions and aggressive environments.

The products will be worked out and shipped in conformity with the special technical conditions of Gazprom for the operated and newly designed objects, including the Astrakhan, Urengoi, Chayanda and Kovykta deposits as well as shelf projects.
