UC Rusal announces operational results in Q1

UC Rusal has summed up the company's operational results in the first quarter of 2016, the press centre of the company Timan Bauxite reports. In the first quarter of 2016, the aluminum production amounted to 916 thousand tons, decreased by 0.5% as compared with the previous quarter. The coefficient of the capacity loading made up an average 95%.
In the first quarter of 2016, the sale of aluminum increased by 9.2% as compared with the previous quarter to 957 thousand tons. The growth was largely caused by seasonal factors (lower sales volumes in the fourth quarter of 2015 during the winter season).
