Rosgeologiya has completed prospective drilling at perspective gold sites in North Osetiya

​The specialists of Yuzhgeologiya and Koltsovgeologiya (both in the structure of Rosgeologiya) have completed prospective drilling for alluvial gold at the Teplinsky and Arsikomsky ore fields in North Osetiya.

The main contractor is another enterprise of Rosgeologiya – Sevosgeolrazvedka (Vladikavkaz). The right to sign a contract was given on the results of the tender held by Rosnedra in June 2013.

In the first field season the works at the object Sevosgeolrazvedka found out perspective for gold areas. Channel sampling was held at the site.

Yuzhgeologiya couldn’t complete in full the order in August 2014 due to the climatic conditions as it is located at the height of 2-3 thousand m above the sea level.

In the new season Yuzhgeologiya and Koltsovgeologiya drilled 6 wells with the inclination of 75-90 degrees, depth of 200-300 m; 80% core sample collection was held at the ore site.

The enterprises reached the goal. Core sample collection reached 100%.
