Over 500 billion to be invested into investment projects in the Angara region
A meeting with the participation of a presidential representative in the Siberian Federal District Nikolai Rogozhkin was held on the eve of the region. Local authorities offered to invest over 500 billion rubles in investment projects, strategic priority for the economic development of the Far East and the Baikal region.
As the deputy chairman of the regional government Ekaterina Mohkamova, the projects include plans to develop gold deposits in the Bodaibo district, construction of Taishet anode factory, a mining and processing plant on basis of Zashihinsky rare earth metals deposits, development of the Ust-Ilim-Katanga industrial complex, projects for effective use of gas, based on Yarakta and Markovskoye gas condensate fields and construction of the Angara-Lena gas-processing complex.
