In January-May of 2014, Azovstal reduced steel production by 10.7% to 1.698 million tons, cast iron by 8.4% to 1.506 million tons

In January-May of 2014, metallurgical plant Azovstal (Mariupol, the Donetsk region), a part of  Metinvest, reduced the production of rolled metal by 19% as compared with the same period in 2013 to 1.433 million tons.

According to a company’s representative, in this period the steel production decreased by 10.7% to 1.698 million tons, and cast iron by 8.4% to 1.506 million tons.
