In Q1 2013, the Kemerovo region increased coal production by 2.1%

In Q1 2013, the coal companies of Kuzbass (Kemerovo region) produced 46.9 million tons of coal, by 2.1% more than in Q1 2012. The production of coking coal was 13.7 million tons – by 11.7% more than in Q1 2012. The regional authorities report that production increased by 0.7 million tons in “Kuzbassrazrezugol” OJSC, by 0.7 million tons in the “Raspadskaya coal company” CJSC, by 0.4 million tons in “Yuzhny Kuzbass” OJSC and by 0.4 million tons in Yuzhkuzbassugol.
