NLMK to reduce dust emission of blast-furnace process by over 20%

Novolipetsk Steel, the largest steel producer in Russia and one of the most efficient steel producers in the world, has started an important environmental project at the Lipetsk site - reconstruction of air purification from dust at the blast furnace №6 (capacity - 3.2 million tons of pig iron per year).
The project will allow the company to reduce the dust emissions from the furnace itself more than 6 times, which will lead to a decrease in this rate in the entire blast furnace of the Lipetsk site by over 20%.
