Five largest companies in Russia provide 80% of silver production in the country. Within 9 months of 2015 silver production in Russia increased by 8% to 1.16 thousand tons, by the end of 2015 total production is projected at 1.7 thousand tons, which is 6% more than in 2014, the review of the Union of Russian Gold Producers citing preliminary data informs.
"Polymetal" is the largest silver producer in Russia, which within 9 months increased metal production by 8% to 773.85 tons. The production was carried out in the Sverdlovsk and Magadan regions, as well as in the Khabarovsk Region.
