The Italian enterprise of Evraz to stand idle for another 12 months

Due to the worsening of the market environment Evraz will not resume the operations of Palinin e Bertoli (Italy) for the next 12 months. The production at the enterprise is not profitable. The price difference on steel blanks and rolled stock on the local market again went down, Reuters and RIA Novosti report, citing the CEO of the company A.Frolov.
Palini e Bertoli has been idle since August 2013. It is located in the north of Italy and can produce 0.5 million stell plates of different sorts a year. The question on the conservation of the plant has not been discussed so far.
