Golden Derrick to pay Nadra Ukrainy 25.42 mln grivna

Golden Derrick Ltd will pay Nadra Ukrainy 25.42 mln grivna for non-executed works, is said in the decision of the Court of Appeal of Kiev as of May 26th.
In 2011 “Poltava oil and gas regional geological enterprise” signed 2 agreements with Golden Derrick.
According to one of them, Golden Derrick was to construct an appraisal well #477 at the Korolenkovsky site. The company was transferred 62.42 mln grivna as advance. However, the works for 48.96 mln grivna were executed, so the left amount is 13.46 mln grivna.
In conformity with the 2nd agreement the exploratory well #1 at the Tokarsky site. 75.94 mln grivna were transferred as advance payment but the works were executed for 63.98 mln grivna – 11.96 mln grivna remained.
