Unique complex to be launched at Berezyansky gold mining plant in 2016

​Until the end of 2016 a complex of separation of precious and non-ferrous metals out of poor and refractory gold-copper containing ore will be put into industrial operation at the Berezyansky gold mining plant of Yuzhuralzoloto GC.

The complex will allow to additionally produce at least 1.5 tons of gold and 1,400 tons of copper a year out of raw materials which were not previously used in the domestic industrial practice. The technological decision will allow to separate 91% of gold and 83% of copper.

The total volume of the project’s financing makes up about 340 mln roubles, a half of this volume is the subsidy from the federal budget, another half – financing of Yuzhuralzoloto.

The work on the project started in 2013. Within that time the scientists have 4 unique developments, 3 of which are launched at the Berezyansky gold mining plant and already provide 60% of gold separation, the main unit – pressurized equipment – is at the stage of launch.
