Belarus states the fall of transit of the Russian cargo to Europe, including coal by more than 20%, oil products by 15%, the Minister of Transport and Communications of Belarus, A. Sivak, said.
“Coal shipment via Belarus annually made up 24-27 mln tons. One should not say this is connected with the mutual sanctions”, he said.
According to Mr. Sivak, there are new approaches to coal in the UK and Poland.
The Minister said that it is not easy to replace these flows.
There is a rise of cargo shipment from the Baltic countries to the Ukraine – by 26% in 2014. But these are small volumes anyway, he said.
