OMK invested over 70 bln roubles into production at VMZ

The investment of “United metallurgical company” CJSC (OMK) into the development of large diameter pipes production at the “Vyksa metallurgical plant” (VMZ, in the structure of OMK CJSC) for the past decade exceeded 70 bln roubles, the press service of VMZ reports.
“As a result we have the only in the world modern complex which has united the capacities on the production of rolled products and large diameter pipes and inner and outer anticorrosion coating at one site”, the managing director of VMZ, S. Filippov said. The development of production of large diameter pipes at VMZ allowed to found 2 thousand work places.
