TMK has shipped a lot of lift pipes to Gazprom
TMK has shipped a lot of insulated lift pipes to Gazprom dobycha Yamburg which develops the Yamburg and Trans-Polar oil and gas condensate deposits in the Yamal Nenets Autonomous Area.
The lot comprised 2,849 linear m of insulated lift pipes with the diameter of 89 mm with wall thickness of 6.45 mm and diameter of 60 mm with the wall thickness of 4.83 mm out of steel of N80 strength group in cold-resistant version with premium threaded join of TMK – UP FMT. The products were produced at the Sinarsky pipe plant. Insulated lift pipes of these dimensions haven’t been previously shipped to Gazprom.
TMK has mastered the output of insulated lift pipes in 2011. An insulated lift pipe has the following structure: smaller diameter pipe is placed into a larger diameter pipe. The in-between-pipe space is filled with insulation to reduce heat loss and is vacuumized.
These products are meant for the development of oil and gas deposits located in the ever frost areas as the upper section of the column of pumping and compressor pipes and allow to prevent the soil thawing around the well.
