German Dobersek to update Uzbek AGMK by autumn 2016

German Dobersek Engineering GmbH started the modernization of copper smelting production at the Uzbek JSC “Almalyk GMK” (AGMK), General Director A.Farmanov stated to RIA Novosti.
“Dobersek started the supply of equipment. Start-up operations will commence in spring 2016. The contract should be completed by autumn,” Farmanov said. The project considers the construction of new automated smelting furnace on “turnkey” basis with immersion lance and the capacity of 17 tons of copper per year at the copper plant.
