RusAl paid out 2.1 bln roubles for Ondskaya HPP to “Gazprom energy holding”

The purchaser is “Eurosibenergo-thermal energy” LLC, the seller is “TGK-1” OJSC. The purchase-and-sale agreement was signed in August. The company was to pay out for the purchase on October 6th. The sum of the deal makes up 2.1 billion roubles.
OJSC “Irkutskenergo” (50%-OJSC “Eurosibenergo”, 40%- OJSC “Inter RAO”) provided the funds for the acquisition of the station. The company provided a loan at 1.9 billion roubles to “Eurosibenergo-thermal energy” and added 700 million roubles into the registered capital of the purchaser.
The station will be leased to OJSC “SUAL”, a 100% affiliate of UC “RusAl”.
