A.Mordashov: sanctions of the West might have an impact on steel demand for another 2-4 years

According to the head of “Severstal” A.Mordashov, the risks of the worsening of steel demand in the Russian Federation because of sanctions will keep for another 2-4 years.

“I think that short-term influence of sanctions is not too big. They are rather in the emotions than in the real economic problems. Sanctions in the long term have risk of worsening of the investment climate. People will buy fewer cars, houses and invest little money into the construction of new plants. It will have an impact on steel demand
