Since the beginning of the year, Mechel increased the production of iron ore from the Korshunovsky open-pit mine by 25% to 2 million tons, Mechel Mining reports.
"From the beginning, the company produced 2 million tons of ore at the mine, which is by 25% more than in the same period last year," - said the company. Since the beginning of the development of the deposit at the Korshunovsky open-pit mine, 495 million tons of iron ore were mined.
