Boguchansk aluminum plant is planned to be launched in 2015

The first phase of Boguchansky aluminum plant (joint venture of RusHydro and Russian Aluminum) is ready to be launched, only the technicalities are left to be settled. The construction and installation works are almost completed, idle commissioning are everywhere underway or completed. Currently, the enterprise is inspected by the Federal Service of Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision and after obtaining its admission to the electricity supply, will start hot tests.
"It is expected that the plant will begin its work and produce the first aluminum in 2015. With its designated capacity, the enterprise will take the third place in Russia,"- the press centre of the regional government reports.
