Export of ferroalloys rose by 9% in Jan-April 2015

​The Ukraine in Jan-April 2015 increased the export of ferroalloys in natural terms by 8.8% against Jan-April 2014 to 320.611 thousand tons.

In monetary terms the export of ferroalloys rose by 1.2% to $376.051 mln.

The main volumes were exported to the Netherlands (28.84% in monetary terms), Turkey (17.93%) and Russia (10.24%).

In Jan-April 2015 the Ukraine imported 16.647 thousand tons of ferroalloys, by 60.8% less against Jan-April 2014. In monetary terms the import fell by 56.7% to $36.104 mln. The import was mainly held from Russia (24.93%), India (13.62%) and Georgia (12.40%).

In 2014 the Ukraine increased the export of ferroalloys in natural terms by 40.2% against 2013 to 977.531 thousand tons, in monetary terms – by 27.3% to $1 bln 153.845 mln. The main volumes were exported to Turkey (20.52% in monetary terms), Russia (18.36%) and the Netherlands (13.99%).
