Donetsk Republic to ship coal to Africa if only it has surplus

​Almost the entire volume of coal extracted in Donbass is shipped to the Ukraine, the rest is used in Donbass.

The Government of the Donetsk Republic doesn’t refuse to ship coal to Iran and North Africa, however, the Republic doesn’t have any problems with the sale of coal to the Ukraine, the Minister of Coal and Energy of the Donetsk Republic, R. Dubovsky, said.

“If we have extra coal, we will realize this program”, he said.

The Minister said that more than a half of the entire coal extracted in Donetsk is shipped to the Ukraine, mainly to the Starobeshevsky thermal power plant.
