In the first 4 months of 2013, pipe production in the Ukraine decreased by 28%

According to preliminary data, in January-April of 2013,the Ukrainian enterprises of the mining and metals sector decreased the steel production by 1% as compared to the same period of 2012 to 11.058 million tons.
As the agency Interfax Ukraina was reported by Metallurgprom (Dnepropetrovsk), in the first 4 months, the output of total and finished rolled metal was maintained at the level of the last year – 9.880 million tons and 9.064 million tons respectively, but the output of cast iron grew by 1% to 9.670 million tons.
