In Q1, coal production on Sakhalin grew by 65%, export by 10% only

In the first quarter of 2016, coal enterprises of the Sakhalin region produced 1.023 million tons of coal, which is by 65% more than in the first quarter of 2015, the press centre of the regional Ministry of Energy reported on April 7, 2016.
In February 2016, the main volume of the production fell on the Eastern mining company, which increased its production 2 times to nearly 617 thousand tons.
