Nizhnekamskneftekhim masters production of polyethylene for the coating of oil and gas pipes

Nizhnekamskneftekhim (NKNK, a part of the group TAIF) has received a positive opinion from Transneft for a new brand of polyethylene, which can be applied as a three-layer coating of oil and gas pipes, the company's corporate edition reports.

Polyethylene of the PE KM 6461 brand, produced by Nizhnekamskneftekhim, received a positive opinion after the tests and the qualification test at Insulation pipe plant and Chelyabinsk pipe rolling plant (ChTPZ). On the basis of them, the qualification tests at the Research Institute of Transneft and Gazprom VNIIGAZ were conducted.
