In January-October, Irkutsk region increased gold production by 4%

In January-October 2015, subsoil users of the Irkutsk region produced 19.95 tons of gold, which is by 4% less than in the same period of the previous year, the regional government reports.
In particular, the companies of the Angara region washed 10.68 tons of alluvial gold (-7%), including 10.53 tons in the Bodaibo district. The greatest volumes fall on enterprises of the holding company Lenzoloto (included in Polyus Gold) – 5.1 tons (-13%) and Vitim - 2.47 tons (+4%).
