In H1 of 2015, Berezitovy mine increased gold mining

On the results of the first six months of this year, the company Berezitovy mine (Amur region, Russia) increased its gold production by 14%. Berezitovy mine produced 67.3 thousand ounces of gold (or more than 2 tons), which is by 14% more than in the first six months of the previous year (59 thousand ounces or 1 835 kg).

This growth was caused by the increase in the gold content in the ore (by 6% to 2.29 g/t) and recovery (by 0.3 percentage points to 90.1%). In addition, the increase in the gold production was caused by the fact that the volume of the first quarter included about 5 thousand ounces of Dore gold, produced at the end of 2014, but refined in the reporting period. The quarterly volume of the produced semi-gold looks so: in the first quarter of 2015 - 35.5 thousand ounces, in the second quarter of 2015 - 31.8 thousand ounces.
