Coal production in the Ukraine is down by 4.5% in Jan-July

Coal-producing companies of the Ukraine reduced coal production by 4.5% (by 2.275 mln. tons) to 47.761 million tons in January-July 2013 against the same period in 2012, information agency “Interfax-Ukraine” reports.
As the source in the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry stated, coking coal production went down by 7.1% (by 1.047 mln. tons) to 13.739 million tons, steam coal – by 3.5% (by 1.227 mln. tons) to 34.022 million tons over this period.
