UC Rusal invests 160 million rubles in upgrade of powder production of Volgograd aluminum plant

Since the beginning of the year, UC Rusal spent 160 million rubles to modernize the production of powder at Volgograd aluminum plant (VgAZ), the company’s press release reports.

As part of the modernization VgAZ works to expand the range of aluminum powders and pastes used in the production of concrete for the construction industry. A project of the grinding unit with the classification system for the production of a wide range of aluminum powders is underway. Commissioning of the installation of the mixer for the production of hydrophilic pastes with capacity of 50 tons per month is carried out.
