In Q1, Kazzinc increased zinc production by 4% to 75,300 tons, GlencoreXstrata reports. Gold yield increased by 5% to 161,000 troy ounce, and silver yield increased by 16% to 5.014 million ounce. Copper yield increased by 2% to 15,400 tons. Lead yield increased by 48% to 32,200 tons.
The controlling shareholder is GlencoreXstrata with 69.7%, and Samruk-Kazyna holds 30%.
