Iskra to increase gold production

In the current year, the gold-producing holding company Iskra (Sakha) plans to increase the gold production to 720 kg. Thus, the production volume will grow by 35% as compared to 2012. In 2012 the companies of Iskra produced 534 kg of precious metal (the plan was 500 kg). In 2013, Iskra maps out to continue the development of its two main gold fields – the Bergennyakh and Mekcherge, located in the Oimyakon ulus.
