DTEK ready to purchase 100 thousand tons of coal a month from state mines

The energy holding DTEK of R. Akhmetov is ready to purchase 100 thousand tons of coal a month from the state mines, the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of the Ukraine, V. Demchishin, said.
“The contract hasn’t been signed as yet but there is an agreement that they will purchase 100 thousand tons a month”, he said.
According to him, the average coal price by such contracts might make up 1,150 grivna per ton.
There are problems with the sale of products at the state mines that extract G mark coal due to the impossibility of supply of planned volumes to the Uglegorsky thermal power plant.
