In Q3, Alrosa’s net profit under IAS decreased by 4%

In the third quarter of the current year, the Alrosa’s net profit under IAS decreased by 4% as compared with the same period of the last year to 8.32 billion rubles, the company reports.

The rate proved to be better that the consensus-forecast, made by the agency Prime by results of survey of analysts that predicted the net profit in the amount of 8.168 billion rubles. The reduction of the profit in this period was caused by loss from currency difference and increase of interest expense due to debt growth.
