Construction of an oil titanium ore complex to start in Komi until the end of the year
“YaregaRuda” in Q4 2015 will start the realization of the project on the construction of the Yarega mining and chemicals complex in Komi where up to 650 thousand tons of oil titanium ore will be extracted and processed.
The investment volume is 33.9 bln roubles, deputy chairman of the Government of Komi, controlling the financial and economic block, A. Startsev, said.
“The construction of the complex – objects of infrastructure and the titanium mine – is planned to be started in Q4 2015. The enterprise plans to invest 33.9 bln roubles and found up to 3 thousand working places”, Startsev said.
A particular thing of the geological structure of the Yarega oil titanium deposit is the joint bedding of highly viscous oil and titanium ore. “The presence of 2 types of mineral resources within a productive layer and various technologies of their extraction have determined the strategy of development of the deposit’s site”, he said.
