“Primorgeologiya” forecasts gold at the Samarginsky site

​“Primorgeologiya” OJSC (in the structure of Rosgeologiya Holding) makes a positive forecast concerning the discovery of gold deposits at the Samarginsky site in Primorie.

“We will hardly be able to discover large deposits like the riches wolfram deposits Vostok-2 and Lermontovsky, but we can discover smaller ones. The perspectives of the site are connected not only with wolfram, but with lead, molybdenum, copper, gold. There are many volcanic rocks which in their majority allow us to make a positive forecast on gold”, the head of the Mikulinsky party of “Primorgeologiya”, A. Lyzganov says.

The Samarginsky site is the outermost object at which geologists of the enterprise worked this season. It is located 1.3 thousand km off Vladivostok, in the Terneysky district, on the border of the Primorie and Khabarovsk regions. Its area is 12 thousand sq km. Last time this territory was studied in the Soviet times, in the early 80s. Now geologists settle primary goals connected with the issue of a new map.
