The Ukraine needs to import 1 million tons of coal a month because of the termination of a number of mines and its inability to deliver the coal from Donbass to the Ukrainian thermal plants. The first deputy Minister of Energy and Coal Industry, Y.Zyukov said. The coal is planned to be imported, first of all, from the republic of South Africa or from the USA.
