Metinvest and Ukrzaliznytsya create crisis headquarters

The Mariupol metallurgical plants of Metinvest are not cut off from the supply of raw materials as railway officials previously reported. Raw materials for metallurgical and coke plants of Metinvest are delivered through the main railroad yard of Yasinovataya on the Donetsk railway, the press centre of the leading mining and smelting companies in the Ukraine reports.

"Despite the increased loading of this railway section, iron ore, coke and coal are supplied to the plants. The rRaw material streams for the Mariupol metallurgical enterprises are also supplied through the Dnieper railway, although the delivery time has increased significantly due to the fact that a number of stations and running lines is closed," – Metinvest reports.
