Coal production in the Ukraine is down by 5.3% in Jan-June 2013

The coal-producing enterprises of the Ukraine reduced coal production by 5.3% (by 2 mln.278.1 thousand tons) in January-June 2013 against the same period in 2012 (to 40 mln. 521.2 thousand tons).
As the source in the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry stated to “Interfax-Ukraine” agency, coking coal production over this period went down by 6.1% (by 770.3 thousand tons) to 11 million 878.4 thousand tons, steam coal – by 5% (by 1 mln. 507.8 thousand tons) to 28 million 642.8 thousand tons.
