MMK stakes on environmentally-friendly production

Today, on June 5, in World Environment Day workers of environmental protection laboratory of the Magnitogorsk metallurgical plant (Chelyabinsk region) celebrate their professional holiday - Day of the Russian environmentalist.

The day theme of 2015 - "Seven billion desires. One Planet. Consume carefully"- is designed to encourage people to reconsider their lifestyle and consciously approach to the issues of consumption in order to reduce the collective burden of humanity on the natural resources of the planet. The main events will be organized in the framework of the World exhibition "Expo-2015", which takes place in Milan in the period from May 1 to October 31. It is attended by more than 140 countries, numerous international organizations, including the UN. It is expected that "Expo 2015" will attract over 20 million visitors.
