Severstal increases business efficiency within the group

The Cherepovets metallurgical plant has placed an order for rolls for the full volume needed for the recently put into operation ball-rolling mill at its affiliate.
The order for the entire 2014 is placed at “Tyazhmash-SSM” Ltd, the car manufacturing asset of the division “Severstal Russia Steel”. The production of new details, referred to the most complicated ones in car manufacturing, was mastered within a short period of time. In total the enterprise will ship to CherMK 105 rolls for the total amount of 15.5 mln roubles. It will allow to cut the expenditure for the production of ground rolls at the mill constructed to meet the needs of Severstal’s own raw materials enterprises (these goods are used in grinding mills to crush ore).
