Metalloinvest increases iron ore supply to Asia

Iron ore concentrate and sintering ore production by Lebedinsky and Mikhailovsky GOKs (Metalloinvest) made up 10 million tons in Q1, 2016 (+3% y-o-y). Pellet production made up 6 million tons (+3% y-o-y). Production of hot-briquetted iron (HBI) and direct-reduced iron (DRI) increased by 4.9% up to 1.47 million tons.
Lebedinsky GOK produced 5.37 million tons of concentrate (+2% y-o-y), 2.35 million tons of pellet (+2.3%) and 698 thousand tons of HBI (+0.9%).
