In Q1 the largest copper producer in Kazakhstan KAZ Minerals Company increased production of cathode copper by 12.6% yoy to 21.5 thousand tons, the company informs.
In the beginning, the company that appeared from the merger of profitable divisions of the copper giant "Kazakhmys", stated that the year before it was looking forward to almost doubling the production of copper cathodes from 81.1 thousand tons last year due to the commissioning of new production facilities.
