NLMK sells 28.5% in Belgian enterprise

The purchaser SOGEPA will get one more place in the Board of Directors and provide “stability in the region”.

NLMK has sold to the Belgian state-run company SOGEPA (Societe Wallonne de Gestion et de Participations S.A.) 28.5% in NLMK Belgium Holdings (NBH). It goes from the statement of the Russian company. The sum of the deal is unknown. A spokesman for NLMK stated the share of SOGEPA increased up to 49%. NLMK has no plans on further reduction of its participation share in NBH or withdrawal from the capital of the Belgian subsidiary, stated a spokesman for the company.
