Evraz ZSMK finishes blast furnace No3 repair

The repair of the blast furnace No3 has been finished at Evraz Consolidated West-Siberian Metallurgical Plant. The design parameters of the aggregate have been restored.
Special attention was given to the restoration of the entirety of the cover and the cooling system of the furnace shaft. The performance of these elements influences the productivity of the aggregate. The blast furnace has reached 6 thousand tons of cast iron production a day owing to the repair operation. The job security of the service staff has been improved. The tuyere stock of the blast furnace has been connected to the pulverized coal fuel delivery channel.
