In January 2014, coal production in the Ukraine reduced by 0.8% to 6.932 million tons compared to January 2013. Production at the state mines increased by 8.7% to 2.191 million tons, and production at the private mines reduced by 4.7% to 4.741 million tons.
In 2013, coal production in the Ukraine reduced by 2.6% to 83.697 million tons compared to January 2013. Production at the state mines reduced by 2.9% to 24.147 million tons, and production at the private mines reduced by 2.4% to 59.55 million tons.
