Gold production to go up, silver production to go down in Kolyma

Gold production in Magadan region is up, Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the region V.Mitkin said at the meeting, dedicated to minerals production in 2015 and plans for 2016.
According to his report, gold production has increased by 8.8 tons from 15.7 tons to 24.5 tons within the period from 2009 to 2015. Gold production increased by 0.4 tons in 2015 against 2014.
