Metalloinvest’s capacities for production of hot-briquetted iron in Belgorod region increase by 22 thousand tons per year

Metalloinvest has increased production capacity for hot-briquetted iron (HBI). As a result of modernization of equipment of the first hot-briquetted iron workshop (HBI plant-1) at Lebedinsky GOK (a part of Metalloinvest) its production capacities were increased by 22 thousand tons of HBI per year.
This figure will be reached due to new equipment, mounted in the shop during a routine overhaul, conducted at all major sites and mechanisms: shaft furnace, reformer, briquette presses.
