Production
In the second quarter of 2015, the company increased its iron ore production by 1.8% to 9.8 million tons. The pellets production increased by 1.6% as compared with the first quarter of 2015 and reached 5.9 million tons.
In the second quarter of 2015, the production of HBI / DRI made up 1.4 million tons, which is by 2.3% less than the output in the first quarter. The pig iron output amounted to 0.6 million tons, decreased by 5.2% as compared with the first quarter of 2015.
In the second quarter of 2015, the volume of the steel production made up 1.1 million tons, which is by 3.3% less than in the previous quarter.
