China is about to take part in the development of Udokan

There was signed a strategic cooperation agreement between Baikal Mining Company (BMC, part of the Metalloinvest Group) and an investment fund HOPU Investments during the visit of the president of Russia V.Putin to Shanghai.

The agreement was signed by chairman of the Board of Directors of BMC LLC, V.Kazikaev and a partner of HOPU Investments Bi Mingjian in the presence of Russian President V.Putin and President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping.

The signed agreement is a confirmation of the both parties’ interest in joint development of Udokan copper deposit and defines the key lines of strategic cooperation of BMC LLC and HOPU Investments.
